Resolved: Return of damaged goods
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I left a negative review on Trust Pilot.
I stated that after many attempts at contacting Fruugo by email, informing them of the problem and attaching a photo I got no response.
The emails were rejected.I eventually got a response from Fruugo, through Trust Pilot, trying to blame the supplier, even though I had no contact details for them. I received a full refund from Fruugo.

User's recommendation: Don't use fruugo if the item you are buying is from China. Poor quality at a high price. Poor quality control. My item arrived damaged even though it was well packaged. The item was of poor quality and not as advertised. There was no returns label enclosed. Fruugo customer service is appalling all my emails concerning my return are rejected.
